NYC 2026 Homicide Victim List

A Brooklyn home health aide has been arrested and charged with manslaughter following the death of an 81-year-old woman at her South Jamaica home on Thursday.

Patricia Williams, 46, who resides on New York Avenue in Crown Heights, was initially taken into custody as a person of interest after officers from the NYPD’s 113th Precinct responded to a 911 call around 3:30 p.m. The call reported a woman in need of medical assistance at a residence located at 126-35 146th Street.

When officers arrived, they discovered 81-year-old Lillie Hill unconscious and unresponsive inside the home. Emergency medical personnel transported Hill to Queens Hospital Center, where she was later pronounced dead.

According to a law enforcement source, investigators determined that Williams allegedly performed an improper medical procedure involving Hill’s chest catheter, resulting in excessive bleeding.

The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner is expected to determine the official cause of death. Authorities say the investigation remains ongoing.

As of Friday, Williams’ arraignment in Queens Criminal Court was still pending.
