NYPD responded to a 911 call at the corner of West 49th Street and Seventh Avenue on November 24th at approximately 1:08am.

On arrival police located 23-year-old Daevon Silva of Pawtucket, suffering multiple stab wounds. According to police, Silva had been beaten with a baseball bat and then stabbed in his back and suffered a wound to his right thigh. He was rushed to Bellevue Hospital, where he was later pronounced deceased.deceased.
