NYPD responded to a 911 call reporting a shooting on September 9th at around 10 p.m. in front of 160 Havemeyer St.
On arrival police located 18-year-old Jayden Velasquez suffering from gunshot wounds. He was rushed to NYC Health + Hospitals/Bellevue, where he died of his injuries.
No arrests have been made, and detectives continue to investigate the fatal shooting.
