NYPD said 21-year-old Jontay Davis was found suffering from a gunshot wound to his head, lying behind Saint Barnabas Hospital, located at 4422 3rd Ave., at approximately 2:02 a.m. on September 2nd.

Police said it appears the man wasn’t shot at the medical center but was instead dropped off behind the building and left there to die. Despite life-saving efforts, Davis died of his injuries.
