NYPD said Jose Garcia,35, was shot multiple times in the torso in the 9th-floor hallway of The New York City Housing Authority’s  Monterey/Twin Parks Houses on January 6th at 6:44pm.

Police and paramedics arrived to find Garcia suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to the torso. Garcia was rushed to St. Barnabas Hospital where he was pronounced deceased.

No arrests have been made and police have not released any suspect information at this time.
