NYPD responded to a 911 call about an assault around 8:44 p.m. Wednesday September 16th in front of 85 Crooke Avenue, where they found 24-year-old Ramel Ingram with a gunshot wound to the chest.

Ingram was transported to NYC Health + Hospitals/Kings County, where he was later pronounced dead.

On Thursday, police arrested 21-year-old Kindle Akinola. Akinola has been charged with murder and criminal possession of a weapon.
