NYPD were called to an apartment building at 2020 Dorchester Road, on October 19th just before 2:10 a.m.

On arrival, police learned that two men, a 24-year-old man and a 22-year-old, were involved in an altercation that led to the 24-year-old getting shot in the chest. He was rushed to Kings County Hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.

The 22-year-old man was taken into custody for questioning. Police have not announced any charges.
