NYPD responded to a 911 call reporting an assault in progress at 1182 Ogden Ave. shortly after 10 p.m on December 27th.

When police arrived, they found Shashamanie Thompson unconscious and suffering from multiple stab wounds. She was transported to Lincoln Hospital, where she was later pronounced dead.

Investigators have taken two persons of interest into custody for questioning. Police say charges are pending as the investigation continues.
