Queens detectives are probing the death of a man who was found with apparent body trauma inside a Queens apartment building

NYPD responded after a 911 call reported a man was discovered inside a building at 20-50 Nameoke Ave. at approximately 2:40 p.m. on Jan. 30.

When authorities arrived, they found a 59-year-old man unresponsive, with visible injuries to his head and face. EMS crews pronounced him dead at the scene.

The man’s name has not yet been released as police work to notify his family. His body was transported to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner, where an autopsy will be conducted to determine the official cause of death.

The investigation remains ongoing, and no arrests have been announced at this time.
