Police said officers responded to reports of gunfire around 10:23 p.m. near Mother Gaston Boulevard and Glenmore Avenue on September 11th.
On arrival police found a 33-year-old man with a gunshot wound to the neck and a 35-year-old man who had been shot in the chest and ankle.
Both victims were taken to nearby hospitals, where they were later pronounced dead. Their identities have not been released as police work to notify their families.
Investigators have not disclosed a possible motive or identified any suspects. No arrests have been made, and the investigation remains ongoing. Anyone with information is urged to contact the NYPD.
